(Yearbook committee will work on their wikis today from 1:45-2:15.)

Please get in groups of three to use one laptop to work through some tutorials. If you would like to work by yourself instead, on your iPod, you may, but realize it will be MUCH harder.

First, go to The Powers of Ten and work through the page together. After doing that, ask Mrs. Martin for the first problem page and do it--if you are in a group, you may work together, but each person does their own worksheet.

Then read and work through Place Value, Positional Numeration the same way and do the problem sheet associated with it.

Then, read and work through The Powers of Ten and work through the page together. After doing that, ask Mrs. Martin for the problem page and do it--if you are in a group, you may work together, but each person does their own worksheet.
Then you may visit each person's wiki and give each other VERBAL feedback on it.

IF you finish all of this, then you may work on reviewing apps on your iPod.

Please get in groups of three to use one laptop to work through the tutorials. If you would like to work by yourself instead, on your iPod, you may, but realize it will be MUCH harder.

First, go to The Meaning of Decimals and work through the page together. After doing that, you may go to the problem page online and work through it TOGETHER! IN your journal, each of you write the three problems that gave you the hardest time.

Then read and work through The Meaning of Decimals Lesson 2 the same way and do the problem sheet online again. In your journal, show the three problems you had the hardest time with.

Next, work through The Meaning of Decimals Lesson 3 together. This time you do NOT do the problem sheet online, but instead do it on paper. Ask Mrs. Martin for a copy. Then put it in your journal.

IF you finish all of this, then you may work on reviewing apps on your iPod.

Work through these tutorials:
The Meaning of Percent
The Meaning of Percent 2

Then create a quiz for the others that includes some work from each of the tutorials you did this week. Create the quiz AND the key to use to grade the answers. Use no more than 24 questions and tell how many points each question is worth so that the whole quiz is worth 100 points. make sure that if one of your friends passes this test, they really show they understand the concepts you've studied the past three days. Turn the tests you create in to Mrs. Martin.

(Yearbook committee will work on their wikis today also.)

Today in the lab, please work on your wikis--I sent you all a wiki-mail with your tasks for today. Please let Victoria show you her iPod review page. It has set quite the standard for the rest of you!

Emmy, please sit by Rebecca and help her with any questions she may have. She needs to personalize her wiki first (the look and feel). Thanks!

I WILL be checking email while I'm away, so feel free to wiki-mail me with any questions.

Celine and Emmy, if you'd like to, please organize the apps on the four iPods listed below--45, 46, 47, and 48 in the second drawer.

When you go back to the classroom today, you will be working on your iPods. If you didn't bring it, borrow one from the bottom drawer, just make sure it gets back there. (Nicolas and Celine, will you two take responsibility for getting any borrowed ones back there and making sure the cart is closed up at the end of class, please? )

Rebecca, you may use 7642 in class today--I need to get you a permission form and get it signed before you can take one home. If your family has an email address, wiki-mail it to me and I'll write them about permission, so you can get it while I am not there. Thanks!

Aaliyah, please use 7645 in class. Adriana, please use 7646. Bella, you may use 7647, and Wiley, 7648.

Then go to the iPod Review page for more info!
